More Imagination Than You Can Handle? (Ruth Marlene Friesen)
A shy sensitive child, with an imagination bigger than myself, I often heard, "Oh, Ruthie, you're letting your imagination run away with you again!"

To avoid put-downs I took the hint and learned to keep most of my stories and questions to myself. My imagination sort'a went underground. Or, I might say I lived life on two levels.

Know what?

Just recently I've had a number of confirmations that all these years I've had every symptom of a creative writer, yet why was I plagued for years with a sense of being odd and different? With little affirmation, it is easy to believe one is an ugly duckling.

Ah-but, here's a news flash for you! On the internet I've discovered others who report the same symptoms. Maybe I've been a swan (creative writer) all this time and didn't know it? Now I've found my own kind. So now you're thinking; "What are those symptoms? Have I got any?"

Well, if you do - take it as good news. The internet is like an oyster, making a lovely bed for you - the pearl of great value!

What's the internet about, if it isn't about words. Words in emails, words on web sites, words in ads...! Here a word, there a word, everywhere a word! But the marketing experts say, even with a picture or graphic being worth a thousand words, you still will not sell anything unless you choose your words very carefully. Only text gets results.

If you know how to choose the right word to persuade, instruct or inspire and motivate, and you are willing to learn how to abide by the current rules long enough so you can tell when it is appropriate to break them, you can soon have people eating of your hand. Just go read up the introduction to this e-book for instance, http://myws.sitesell.com/provision.html It's called -get this - "Make Your WORDS Sell."

Oh-but I was starting to tell you about those symptoms, wasn't I? Let me get back to that.
