What will my donation achieve?
You may be asking yourself who is going to benefit from your hard-earned cash if you donate some of it to this site!
To reassure you, we want to make it clear that ACTS On The Net is charitable, registered by Trust Deed with the UK Charity Commission under charity number 1085649.
It costs us money to keep this site up and running. We need your donations to keep it online. Please think about a regular contribution to help us out. We are all volunteers and if the site is to develop, we need your help. Thankyou.
Your money will help on two fronts.
First of all, it will help with the running costs (like web hosting fees and publicity materials) and with future developments
Secondly, it will be tithed into a fund to help finance projects which fit a set criteria.
The project could be -
a) Funding toys for an inner city toy library,
b) It might be sending a washing machine to an orphanage in partnership with a mission or charity.
c) It might be a project 'signing' the story of Jesus to deaf children in a deprived area,
d) Supplying materials to projects working in schools
Your suggestions would also be welcomed.
If you know of a worthwhile project, you can tell us about it and:-
Encourage them to apply via the site by contacting us for an application form once the fund has got up and running.
The Trustees will make funding decisions every six months and details of the chosen project/s will be put up on the site, together with news items on the projects' progress.
As we don't have anyone working full time on the site (we are all volunteers), we need you to spread the word and encourage people to give.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to invest in this site and it's aims, please contact us and we will be more than happy to speak with you/them.
By operating in this way, we will be using the internet in a very positive way, so the site can not only share Jesus by the written word, but can live out the love of God in practical ways and reach out to the world as He has asked us to.
